ATP bioluminescence testing for water systems
Rapid ATP bioluminescence testing for RO plants, dialysis loops, storage tanks and food-processing water: a reading in minutes that shows biological contamination and biofilm before it becomes a lab failure or a fouled membrane.

What ATP testing is
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is present in all living cells. A swab or water sample is mixed with a luciferase reagent and the light produced is read by a luminometer in relative light units (RLU): the more light, the more biological material.
Where we use it
RO feed, after carbon and cartridge filters, RO concentrate and permeate, dialysis distribution loops, product water tanks, filling lines and food-contact surfaces.
How it fits your monitoring
ATP gives a same-day trend between laboratory culture (HPC/CFU) and endotoxin results. A rising RLU trend triggers sanitisation of carbon beds, a membrane CIP or a loop disinfection before quality drifts.
Service options
One-off site audit with a sampling map and report, or scheduled ATP testing as part of an AMC, with baseline and action levels set for each sampling point.
Design data we need
System layout and sampling points, water use (dialysis, food, process, drinking), current lab results and cleaning or disinfection schedule.
Included / excluded
Included: sampling plan, on-site ATP readings, RLU trend report and recommendations. Excluded unless written: accredited laboratory culture and endotoxin testing fees, remedial cleaning works (quoted separately).
