Handheld TDS meters
Handheld pen-style TDS / conductivity meters from Mai Fina for quick checks on RO permeate, drinking water, filters and storage tanks: immerse the electrodes, read total dissolved solids in ppm within seconds, supplied with set-up advice for your system.

What a TDS meter measures
The meter measures electrical conductivity between two electrodes and converts it to total dissolved solids (TDS) in ppm, with automatic temperature compensation. Lower readings mean fewer dissolved salts and minerals.
Where to use it
RO feed and permeate, home and office RO units, drinking water dispensers, water tanks, bottled water lines, hydroponics and aquariums.
Reading your RO system
Compare feed TDS with permeate TDS to estimate salt rejection. A rising permeate reading is an early sign that cartridges or membranes need attention.
What it does not measure
TDS does not detect bacteria, chlorine or specific contaminants. For pH, ORP, free chlorine or resistivity use a multiparameter meter, and use a laboratory for microbiology.
Care and calibration
Rinse electrodes after use, keep the cap on and check against a calibration solution periodically. We can show your staff how.
Included / excluded
Included: meter, guidance on test points and target readings for your system. Excluded unless written: laboratory analysis, calibration solutions beyond those supplied.
