A wash bay already has a wet hall and a service room. Putting recycle in that room keeps electrics dry, hides the kit from customers, and uses the existing grated channels. A 20 ft box in the yard is only used when there is no plant room.
Grated channels → collection sump (coarse basket) → oil-water separator → grit / hydrocyclone → bag or disc filter → UF housings or compact MBR → clear product tank → recycle pump to rinse arches. Makeup from city on level control. Optional small RO only on the last spot-free bar so recycled water is not asked to dry spotless on black paint.
Sand load is high; baskets and cyclones are not optional. Summer temperature raises odour if the sump goes septic — keep turnover and a drain-down. Detergent choice affects UF fouling; we list compatible chemistry in the O&M.
Included: room-fit skid, separators as BOQ, membranes/housings, tank, panel, install inside the room, commissioning. Excluded: civil channels and sump structure, oil disposal contract, the wash arches themselves unless quoted.
